Two possible things to try.
- log in with your T-Mobile ID rather than granting access via your number.
- check how many devices you are logged in to. If it's just a couple you're okay.
Usually the first will solve the issue, but if not let us know.
thanks. using my T-Mobile ID ended up working. Took me a while because it looks like i omitted a letter from my email address whenever I set that up. Might be worth noting that the system can take either input. Based on the login prompt I thought it was going to setup Multiple numbers on the device rather than forward my existing one.
