I'm confused a little with what you're trying to do.
Normally, you'd want the Gear S2 to be the same phone number as your main phone rather than a totally different number... in which case you wouldn't want ever use that number since it's an accounting number and not a real set of DIGITS.
Also in the app, if you're logging in, try instead to sign in with your T-Mobile ID email since that seems to work more often. We're working to fix the phone number login, but that's mainly a secondary use case and we prefer for people to log in with their email since it will give you access to all the numbers on your account rather than just a single one.
So, I have a line for the Gear S2 and I was under the impression that I
will be able to set up several lines on my primery device. I know that when
the Gear and my phone are connected it would not make sense to have the
Gear line on the phone, but I am not always warung the gear and some times
I am only with the Gear S2.
Okay.... so here's what I would do...
1. Have the Gear and your Primary phone have the same "native" phone number
2. Have then additional numbers on your primary phone.
This way when you're away with your Gear you get your main primary number.
The downside which is not yet something we can do is - you can't have multiple numbers available on the Gear.
If you wanted a different number for the Gear and having those DIGITS available on your phone as a second number, while something we can technically support, it's not something that we're able to support at the moment unless you make the Gear's phone number a full GSM number (e.g. a regular add-a-line rather than a wearable rate plan).
So while technically possible, it's a bit more complex than what we're allowing right now for the beta. If you stick with the basics for now, I think you'll be satisfied with the outcome.
Got it. Thank, this us very helpful.
Thank you for your help.
