Hmm... that's not what's supposed to happen. Can you do the following.
1. go to settings and log out
2. turn off wifi
3. once you're logged out, click "Sign in with T-Mobile ID"
4. enter in your T-Mobile ID email and password
5. turn on your personal line
See if that clear it up. If not can you provide us with what your work phone is (both model and carrier)?
