why is latest andriod version 4.4.4 when other carriers are loading 5.x and 6.0?
Hey mcgib! While I don't blame you one bit for asking, we're not really privy to the decisions made about which equipment will or won't receive updated software. Our Software update development FAQs offer a little bit of insight into the overall process, and if the S4 does receive an update you'll see it listed here: Software updates - but at this time, we don't have any word that there's anything upcoming for the S4. I'm sorry - I know that's not the answer that you were probably hoping for, but we definitely appreciate you reaching out all the same!
Marissa, Thanks for your hones response. Please log my with t-mobile
I definitely will do so - it never hurts to ask, and even though we're not the folks making the decisions, we do have the ability to amplify feedback! Thank you again.
Where did you see anyone was getting 6? I only knew about 5.x which also causes a major performance hit.
Do yourself a favor and look up XDA developers + SGH-M919 and Cyanogenmod. Marshmallow or Nougat won't happen here, it's just too old of a phone.
