The LG V20 does not have a sound equalizer enabled in the TMobile model, but other versions like the Sprint version apparently does. Considering Hi-Fi Quad DAC is a major feature, real audio controls should be a given. Will this be enabled anytime soon in a software update? Sound on regular earbuds sounds flat unless I am using a 3rd party equalizer app. Even my old Samsung Note 4 had equalizer controls built in. Thank you.
Screenshot of the Sprint one?
I just discovered an equalizer buried in the baked in LG mp3 Music player in my TMobile version. I haven't been able to relocate the thread were another LGV20 user on Sprint claimed to be able to see Equalizer settings from Google Play Music. I've been accessing the 5 band equalizer on other phones through Google Play Music or the phone's Settings all this time I didn't think to look at the built in MP3 player first. It contains presets and a 5 band equalizer like I would expect, but I don't think any adjustments from the mp3 player apply to any other music apps. Shame, as syncing my OneDrive to the LG Music player gave me a taste of how good even streaming tracks can sound on this device with some adjustment.
The Sprint version doesn't have LG Music app installed as to why the Google music has an EQ.
