1 of 1 people found this helpfulYou can clone it from a computer (copy all the data from old one to new one), keeping the permissions. You can also do it from the phone. I assume you are running Lollipop or Marshmallow? What's the size of the new one?

Hey twatley7
dieseltwin is on point with this one. If you have a computer with the option to insert an SD card or an adapter you can just copy/paste all of the files from one card to another. That's going to be the easiest option in my opinion.

Right, so its hard to lose the data unless you physically lose the old card, as for transferring, if it's pictures and video those aren't difficult, the /Android/data isn't usually a problem, for apps with lots of files (like navigation apps) I usually archive them first before copying, but that's only to save time. If you run into any issues with the new card feel free to ask.
