Does T-Mobile allow a smart phone to be used on a pay-as-you-go account that doesn't have any data allotment? Some carriers used to have this restriction (some may still), but I don't know if T-Mobile does or ever did.
My wife refuses to move to a "real" plan, staying with the same pay-as-you-go plan that she's been on forever, but her aging Moto V3 has finally gotten to the point where she won't put up with it any more.
When the new googlephones come out in October, I'd like to give her my Nexus 6 and pick up whatever new thing comes down the pike.
Assuming we walk into a T-Mobile shop and get an appropriately sized SIM card, will T-Mobile care at all if she starts using that phone on her existing plan?
We won't mind! You are welcome to use a smart phone on any of our rate plans, whether or not you choose to use data!
Thank you! This might make my buying a new toy a bit easier for my wife to accept.
