okay so, I bought used iPhone 6 and when I received it, it was working well. Well, I don't know why but I wanted to reset all the setting and delete everything so that all That The guy had done to the phone was reset. Well, now I'm screwed BIG time. The phone is stuck on the screen where it says "Hello" in multiple languages and I can't unlock the phone because I don't have a SIM card from t-mobile. I don't even know the phone number to the phone. So I was wondering if T-Mobile could unlock my phone but I don't know how that would be possible since I don't know the number to the phone. Suggestions to what I should do?
they will not. Only the original owner can do anything in regards with T-Mobile.
The phone should not require a TMO SIM card (or any SIM card for that matter) in order to start up. If it is stuck at the welcome screen, I suggest syncing to iTunes. If that doesn't work, try reflashing with the latest version of iOS (also via iTunes).
That's what I was thinking too. Just didn't have enough recent exposure with Apple products to be confident in saying that.
e2k's suggestion was spot on. Have you given this a shot yet?
