If you recently paid it off and you still owed money for your bill
It looks weird and it throws people off
I have purchased multiple devices under EIP and pay them off later.
When you pay off the EIP it throws the money in and shows a negative balance.
You pay the EIP off
Your bill posts $100 uses credit
EIP pay off added to the bill
You owe $100
Next bill happens $200
If you do the math it is correct and you are not over paying and you are not being charged twice.
For 2 monthly bill is $200
And your EIP is $100
You only payed $200 during that 2 month span.
Confusing yes it is, but it adds up. They do need a better way to reflect EIP pay offs.
No, they charged my credit card the full cost of EIP at the time I paid it off after my monthly payment had already been paid. This is not right and I will not pay for it again. It never posted to my account as a credit because it wasn't a credit. T-Mobile needs to fix this crap or they can have it all back and give me my money back.
That exactly what happened by the way you are saying it. Do the math exactly for the two months and it'll come down to the exact cent.
I've fixed it now. For anyone else who has this problem call, talk to a representative and tell them that they can either fix the bill or you'll return the phone. It took me 15 minutes on the phone but I got them to finally remove the extra charges permanently from my account moving forward. The attitude of the girl on the phone changed immediately as soon I said I'll return everything to the nearest location as soon as they opened.
Did that really fix the billing issue or did they send another bill the following month? They will figure out a way to screw you over.
