No, S6 was the first Galaxy to have Band 12.
Will I be missing a lot if I don't have B12 coverage?
Band 12 (in the markets that have it) will significantly improve indoor
coverage and fills in any signal gaps between current towers. AT&T and
Verizon used their size ND deep pockets and bought up almost 93% of the
available low band which is they generally had better coverage since it
takes 4 high band towers to cover 1 low band tower. The trade off is that
low band doesn't have the same bandwidth as higher bands so Verizon's
network while it covered everyone was coming to a screeching standstill
which is why they worked out the deal with T-Mobile and sold T-Mobile Band
12 spectrum in exchange for $3 billion in cash and high band spectrum.
I personally moved just prior to Band 12 rollout and my new place is while
within a mile or so of the tower is in a bit of a bowl and surrounded by
trees and coverage was pretty intermittent at best but now it's fine since
they launched Band 12 here in Atlanta.
So I guess I should go for the S6 instead. ok thx!
Personally I would, the S6, S6e and S6e+ all have it. Note 4 was the first
Note to have it.
Get the s6, I have had the s5 and s6 and the s6 is way better!! You will love it. The camera is great! The s6 supports band 12 (700mhz) so the coverage will be a lot better. I noticed a big coverage improvement when I got my s6!
