I want to switch from Verizon as I am unhappy, but I have an EIP. I want to take advantage of the switch offer to pay it off, but I know they will do a credit check for the device payment and plan.
My problem is due to a large breach my data was compromised so I put freezes on my credit files as suggested by many. Now it's a giant hassle to do anything like change plans.
Does anyone know so I don't have to pay $30 to unlock each bureau?
We don't actually use a specific bureau, it can be any of the 3. Sorry, I know that doesn't make it easy.
I would suggest calling sales (rather than trying to open an account online). Let them know from the outset that you have these blocks in place. Ask for escalation to a supervisor if necessary.
