today i tried to buy a brand new phone, one with my own plan and everything. i was hoping it would be a simple and quick trip but it wasn't what I was expecting. i told the t mobile employee everything I wanted: Galaxy s6, with a 6gb plan. When she ran the numbers, it was much higher than I thought. I asked, and she said that for simple choice plans, you're required to have two lines because it helps with our systems. I only wanted one. for myself only. I didnt buy a phone because the whole thing took me by surprise. Basically, am I really required to buy two lines for just myself?
No. That rep tried to pull a fast one or something.
You sure you went to a corporate store and not a 3rd party store? Even if it says T-Mobile doesn't always mean you actually went to T-Mobile.
