There are multiple threads on this with no T-Mobile Response. This issue needs to be addressed. Every time the router reboots it stops passing traffic to the WAN. You must go into the router and hit apply on the port forwarding sections to fix this. Rebooting does NOT help the issue.
Firmware 184.108.40.206.376_3108 is the latest available and appears to be the only version with this issue. I cannot find an old version to revert to.

Cannot access the internet after configuring port forwarding
Re: Cellspot Router connected clients can not access internet
Hoping someone from T-Mobile sees these issues so we can get them addresses. I like the free router and all but I will have to return it soon if this isn't fixed.
Thanks for reaching out and bringing this to our attention!
Have you already had an opportunity to reach out to our tech specialists over the phone to see if they have any ideas?
I haven't had time to sit on the phone with tech support yet.
I was just checking in to see if we had found a resolution!
No, there won't be until they push new code to the devices. The conditions are if you have port forwarding enabled, you see the bug.
I just don't have time to sit in the phone and go through steps I've already gone through when other have documented a similar bug.
Lauren, please see the detailed post here: Cannot access the internet after configuring port forwarding
People have been on the phone with support staff, the resolution from Asus is that it is a firmware problem and needs to be updated by t-mobile.
Thanks for that info!
I'll be sure to get this info passed along. I don't have any updates to offer now, but if that changes, I will be sure to follow up.
I am also having the same problem. Is it possible to downgrade to an earlier version? I don't think this is usable as it is.
Same problem here as well. Confirmed: Firmware Version: 220.127.116.11.376_3108-g23b5852. I have to log into the device and Apply settings IOT restore Internet connectivity because a power cycle is not enough.
Missed edit opportunity. My issue is not Port Forwarding enabled but DDNS enabled. This has to be Applied any time the device is power cycled IOT restore connectivity.
I've been having the same issues on this firmware. I actually have two of these routers and both have the same problem. A few things I've noticed.
-For me the issue is only there in router mode. If I switch the unit to wireless AP mode and just use it as a wifi access point the problem never pops up.
-I've changed every setting possible on the unit and in router mode the problem returns at every reboot. Firewall on or off, NAT, etc... Nothing seems to help.
-The easiest way I've been able to restore function is to go into parental controls. Enable then disable parental controls and the unit will start passing traffic from LAN to WAN again perfectly.
Extra note. Doesn't matter if parental controls are even used. If you do use them and have them enabled you would simply do the opposite. Log in, turn the off then back ON to restore function again.
FIX IT T-MOBILE!!!!!!
Lauren, any update on this? The firmware hasn't changed and the problem still persists.
Haven't seen or heard of any update even after visiting two local TMo corporate stores. Last contact w/ TMo resulted in my returning the CS Router. We're not going to run a device w/ obvious security concerns and crippled functionality when the manufacturer has more retail updates then TMo does.
Now the version (2016-06-04) has been updated to 18.104.22.168.376_3169, the bug you mentioned still???
