Hey! I bought an unlocked (contract free T-Mobile) Apple iPhone 6 in February '15 and somehow T-Mobile locked it again. I talked to T-Mobile and they said I have to talk to Apple because I purchased it there but Apple told me I have to talk to T-Mobile because it's their carrier and THEY locked it. I'm starting to use Sprint in November and going back to Europe next year so what should I do? Has anyone had this problem before?! Thanks! I REALLY NEED MY UNLOCKED IPHONE AGAIN! Very disappointed and upset that T-Mobile locked it.
If you bought it from a 3rd party then you have to bring it up with them.
Exactly where did you buy it from?
T-Mobile can only unlock it if it is T-Mobile branded. Also, I always find it suspicious when someone claims that a previously unlocked phone was locked by the carrier. In the case of iPhones, the phone was usually hacktivated, and not truly unlocked.
Did you recently perform an iOS upgrade?
