My charging port is broke but still charges (kind of). The charging cable is very loose when its in and I have to keep the phone in a curtain position for it to charge. There is no damage and nothing in the port at all. I tried 4 different cables and the problem is defineitely with the phone. Ive had the phone for 5 months and I have warranty. Is there a way I could call customer support and get a new one and what would I have to pay?
You can call tech support and they will send you one and you send back the bad one. It will likely be a refurbished phone but should look band new. There is a 20$ warranty fee which I believe includes ground shipping but not sure. And that is less if you have insurance or jump on the phone. Again, this assumes that there is no physical damage to the device.
