The TVision HUB is a 4K HMDI device with access to over 8,000 video streaming, music, and gaming applications along with programmable Guide and DVR buttons to jump directly into your favorite Live TV application.

 

Connect TVision HUB 

Before you start, check that you have:

  • A Wi-Fi internet connection
  • A Google account (required to download apps and games)
  • A TVision Account (optional, press the Home button on the remote to bypass)

Connect your HUB

  1. Turn off your TV or monitor.
  2. Connect your TVision HUB device to your TV or monitor with the HDMI cable.
  3. Plug your TVision HUB device into an outlet.

 

Set up TVision HUB

There are three options to set up your TV HUB:

 

Set up with Quick Start

 
  1. When your TV displays, "Quickly set up your TV with your Android phone," use your remote to select Continue or Yes. If you don't have an Android phone, select Skip.
  2. On your Android phone, open the pre-installed Google app.
  3. Type or say "set up device."
  4. Follow the instructions on your phone.
  5. On your phone, select the name of your TV when it shows up.
  6. Follow the instructions on your TV to complete setup. Your TV will automatically sign into your Google account and connect to the same Wi-Fi as your phone.
  7. Follows steps in ‘Program TVision HUB remote’ when prompted to program remote to TV. 
 

Set up with your TVision HUB remote

 
  1. Program the TVision HUB remote following the on-screen instructions (review Program TVision HUB remote).
  2. When your TV displays, "Quickly set up your TV with your Android phone," use your remote to select Skip.
  3. Connect to Wi-Fi (you may need to wait for the system to update).
  4. Select Sign in > Use your remote.
  5. Sign in to your Google Account.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish setup.
 

Set up with your phone or computer

 
  1. Program the TVision HUB remote following the on-screen instructions (review Program TVision HUB remote).
  2. When your TV displays, "Quickly set up your TV with your Android phone," use your remote to select Skip.
  3. Connect to the same Wi-Fi network as your phone or computer (you may need to wait for the system to update).
  4. On your TV, select Sign in > Use your phone or computer.
  5. Sign in to your Google Account.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish setup.

 

Program TVision HUB remote

You will be prompted to connect your TVision HUB remote when turning the device on for the first time. The remote control needs to have line-of-sight with the TV, so make sure you point the remote at the TV when you want to control TV Power, Input, Volume, and Mute. 

 

Program the TVision HUB remote during initial setup

 

You will be prompted to program your TVision HUB remote when turning the device on for the first time. During the initial set up, the TVision HUB remote will be paired with the TVision HUB and then the TVision HUB remote will be programmed to the TV.

  1. Pair the TVision HUB remote to the TVision HUB.
    • Make sure the remote is within 20 cm of the TVision HUB with a clear line of sight.
    • Hold the back and home buttons at the same time. The LED light will blink until the remote is connected and the TV will display a message indicating the remote has successfully connected.
  2. Follow the on-screen TVision HUB set up instructions.
  3. Program the TVision HUB remote to the TV:
    1. Select Get started.
    2. Choose how you want to control sound (TV or TVision HUB).
    3. Scan for devices and select the brand of TV you're trying to connect.
    4. Use the white power button on your remote to select Yes.
    5. Check that the INPUT button on your remote switches the input of your TV and select Yes.
    6. Check that the Mute button on your remote is working and select Yes.

 

 

Program the TVision HUB remote after Initial Set Up

 

Follow these steps to pair the TVision HUB remote to a new TV when the TVision HUB is already set up.

  1. From the Home Screen, navigate to and select the Settings icon.
  2. Select Device Preferences.
  3. Select Smart Control
  4. The Smart Control Wizard will begin. Follow on screen instructions:
  5. Select Get started.
    1. Choose how you want to control sound (select TV or TVision HUB).
    2. Scan for devices and select the brand of TV you're trying to connect.
    3. Use the white power button on your remote to select Yes.
    4. Check that the INPUT button on your remote switches the input of your TV and select Yes.
    5. Check that the Mute button on your remote is working and select Yes.

 

 

Program the TVision HUB remote for Power and Input Only

 

Only follow these steps if you are unable to program the remote during set up or using the Smart Control setting. The power button (white) and the INPUT button on the TVision Remote control can learn the POWER and INPUT IR codes from your TV's remote control.

  • When the programming the TVision remote control, keep the remotes within three (3) centimeters of each other.
  • If the TVision remote control doesn't program within 20 seconds, the remote will automatically stop attempting to program.
  • Repeatedly programming the same function will overwrite the previously programmed function.
 

Unpair the TVision HUB remote from the TVision HUB

 

Only one TVision remote can be connected to the TVision HUB at a time. To connect a new remote, the old remote must be disconnected as follows:

  1. From the TVision HUB Home screen, select Settings.
  2. Select Remotes & Accessories > Remote Name > Unpair.
  3. Select OK to confirm.
  4. Once disconnected, you will be prompted to connect your TVision HUB remote. 
 

Paired remote is unresponsive

 
  1. On the TVision HUB (not the TVision remote), hold the power button for 5 seconds.
  2. You will be prompted to connect your TVision HUB remote.
