Turn on your 5G connection
Make sure you’re not on a call while attempting these steps. For a visual guide, check out our Tutorials.
Apple
- From the Home screen, select Settings > Cellular or Cellular Data.
- If you have an iPhone using Dual SIM with eSIM, choose the line you're making changes to.
- Select Cellular Data Options > Voice & Data.
- Choose 5G Auto.
Samsung
- Open the Settings app and choose Connections > Mobile networks.
- Select Network Mode and choose an option that says 5G.
- From the Home screen, swipe up, then choose Settings.
- Select Network & internet > SIMs.
- Choose Preferred network type and choose 5G (recommended).
OnePlus
- From the Home screen, swipe up, then choose Settings.
- Select Mobile network > T-Mobile.
- Choose SIM info & settings > Preferred network type.
- Select an option that says 5G.
T-Mobile
- From your apps list, select Settings > Network & Internet.
- Choose Mobile networks > Advanced.
- Select Preferred network type and choose 5G On.
moto
- From your apps list, select Settings > Network & Internet.
- Choose Mobile networks and select Allow 5G.
Nokia
- From your apps list, select Settings > Network & Internet.
- Choose Mobile networks and select an option with 5G.
LG
- From your apps list, select Settings > Network & Internet.
- Choose Mobile networks > Network mode.
- Select 5G On.
