Hey there, pb2727!
I wouldn't want to get texts for promos that I'm not eligible for either. I'd recommend updating your marketing preferences by following the steps listed on this page: Manage privacy & notifications.

Reading the link you gave me, the instructions are out of date.
"Manage advertising & insights" is not even an option anymore.
Plus it does not allow me to keep the texting or emailing and only get the relevant information, it is all or nothing. This is not what I would have expected.

The tree has changed but it's still there under your profile but you need to
search a little bit for it. I can't remember where it's at off the top of my head but
I recently responded to another poster with the same issue.

My original issue is still not answered, though. Even though I can shut off the marketing, you falsely state in this marketing that I am eligible for something, Truth in advertising laws are pretty strict, and I was continually told that I was eligible in the text, when after calls and other contacting I was not. So, the burden of making the truth of advertising lays on you, and if I were to take this to a higher level, it would do neither of us much good in a relationship. I feel you need to change your advertisement, or give me the item you tell me I am due.

Every marketing text I get is a web link with the small
print disclaimer depending on plan.
When they send these mass marketing text out
they don't know what plan everyone is on.
