I've had a phone number with Comcast Xfinity for many years, and I ported the number to T-mobile on 5/16/19. They told me the port would take 24 hours. Unfortunately, I did not get the porting complete txt until it's 5/22/19. The problem is that I can make outgoing calls using the T-mobile phone, but incoming calls still ring at Xfinity. I reached out to Xfinity and they told me the they released the line and T-mobile has to "grab my phone number." I called T-mobile to relay that message, but no dice.
HELP! Has anyone experience this issue? How do I get out of this limbo?
Sorry your port is taking longer than expected! It sounds like you were experiencing dual service which is perfect normal for a short period of time after the port. Since you posted this a couple days ago, I wanted to see if you were still seeing this dual service?
