I lost my SIM card for my post paid account. I see a new SIM card will cost me $25 fee and this single mom doesn't want to spend it. My question is this, can I purchase a prepaid SIM card (unactivated), put it in my unlocked phone and have t-mobile customer service (611, or online) activate the prepaid SIM for my postpaid phone number and current plan?
