based off this pdf which I will link it says the following as far as discount for service. https://www.tmobile.careers/media/157740/2018-benefits-guide.pdf
Employee Mobile Service Discount Take advantage of a steep discount on our consumer rate plans on up to 12 lines of service with Talk + Text + Web, plus up to five mobile Internet lines. Plus, you can enroll in device installment plans, participate in most customer promotional offers and buy accessories at at 25% discount. You’re eligible as soon as your new hire information is updated in the system.
I believe the discount based off Google is up to 75% of whatever the consumer plan is and has the same perks but your best option would be to speak with your co-workers. I don't know what you pay currently and I don't know if you have anything on the old plan that you might not want to lost but overall I think its a win to go for the discount.
dragon1562 Whoops, I am NOT a Tmo employee. This T-Mobile Advantage is for employees of big companies (like mine) that have agreements with all the carriers for their employers to get discounts.
BTW: My current simple choice plan has some long name with symbols....I can't find the official name on Tmo so..
SC family with 4 lines, 4gb, $100, then two more lines at $10/month each....so grand total 6 lines, 4gb each, $120/mo
I guess what I would like to know is what the cost of Tmo Advantage.
I agree it is a pretty good guess I am getting a better price. How about me actually getting a direct comparision so I can be sure. How does one go about getting the actual two prices side by side so I can compare?
>> With the Employer Advantage, you don't have a specific plan unless you're actually on your employer's account
I am not on my employer's account
>> ..certain promotional plans are not available if you are enrolled in Employer Advantage.
This seems important. According to my most recent bill I have "SC FAM UNL TT+D 4 lines incl. $100.00" I added two $10/month lines so my family is 6 lines at $120.
>> ..does the amount of data you currently have suffice? Or do you find yourself needing more data on any lines?
Plan states 2.5 gb, however about two years ago Tmo upped us all to 4gb without any additional charge and called it a "promotion." Five of my family members are fine and have never gone over 4gb/mo. One is a data hog so I upped here phones' data to 6gb/month at an additional $15/month.
Thus the plan currently costs $135. Five of us under 4gb, one of us under 6gb.
From this info can you tell me if I can lower my monthly costs using Employer Advantage?
Looks like you got some awesome info already. Did you have any other questions about your plan?
