It sounds like your phone was never unlocked but was jail broke and when you did
the reset it caused it to sim lock.

That's a bummer your phone's locked weslleyrcs but I agree with what gramps28 mentioned. Did you actually go through the unlock process or were told by the person that sold it to you that it was unlocked?
