It should happen. I use DIGITS app in Windows, iOS and Android and I also have Galaxy S7 Edge. No matter from where I send texts/MMS, everything syncs in S7 Edge including all DIGITS apps. Looks like there is some issues with the DIGITS provisioning for your number. Looks like one or two DIGITS systems are not working for you. I am tagging Evan evanmf and group admin Chris tmo_chris . They can collect some more info from you and can help you get going.

debjitjdv Just to confirm I send a message using my message app on my S7 Edge and not Digits app. If I was to download the digits app and use it, I know it does sync.

No matter from where you send the message from i.e. S7 Edge Native Messaging App, DIGITS app in Android, DIGITS app in iOS and DIGITS app in Windows or Web DIGITS app, messages will sync across. But if you send a message from a non-Samsung device using its native messaging app, outgoing messages will not sync but incoming will. In a nutshell,
S7 Edge/S7/S6/S6 Edge/S6 Edge+/Note 5, DIGITS app across various platforms: Incoming / Outgoing SMS WILL sync.
Non-Samsung Device, DIGITS app across various platforms: Incoming SMS WILL sync across everything, OUTGOING SMS sent from the Non-Samsung device will Sync across DIGITS app, but OUTGOING SMS sent from DIGITS app will not sync to the Non-Samsung device.
Let me know if you see this behavior. If not, then something is wrong and DIGITS team needs to look at it. If you are seeing exactly I described, then you are good.

Yeah looks like there is some issue with you number in one or more DIGITS systems. It needs to be looked at the backend.

So far from my understanding is that it is not as expected, I would ping Chris the following information in private messages so they can report the bug and look into it.
T-Mobile ID (your email address you associated with DIGITS)
Primary phone number:
Device make/model:
Secondary device make/model:
Device software version:
Secondary device software version:
DIGITS app version:
Secondary device DIGITS app version:
Web browser type/version:

I am having the same issue with my S7 Edge.
Outgoing messages sent on the digits app (web, desktop, or mobile client) are not showing up in the native samsung messages (SMS) application.

I am having the exact same problem. Galaxy S8 Plus using the Android Messages app. If I send a message via Digits on the web, it does not sync to my phone. However if I send from my phone, it shows up online.

I had the same issue on my Samsung Galaxy S8, but I was able to somewhat figure out what was wrong. Texts sent via web and Digits app did not show up in my Pulse Messaging app. Texts sent via Pulse Messaging app showed up for web and Digits app. I couldn't figure out why until I looked at the native Samsung Messaging app and saw all my messages appearing there. It looks like you must use the native message app for your phone for them to sync.
I hope this help. I do wish to be able to use any messaging app of my choice. Either T-Mobile or the app developer will need to fix this.

Even the native Samsung messaging app is not syncing on my S7 Edge (G935T). Hope we get a response to this issue!

Mine isn't even working with the native app. Nothing I send from another device show in the native app. Just incoming which is pointless.

1 of 3 people found this helpfulHey folks!
I think we are mixing a couple different issues here so I want to make sure I clarify.
If you are using a device that has the native DIGITS experience built like the S7, messages that you send/receive from the phone will sync with all instances of DIGITS you log into like the app (on separate device) or on the website (webdigits.T-Mobile.com.). The same applies if you are sending/receiving messages through a DIGITS instance like the app or the website, all messages will sync to your native devices messenger if you are using a device that has DIGITS built in.
If you are using a phone that does not have native DIGITS built in and you send a text using the phones native messenger, these sent messages will not sync with DIGITS. This is the expected behavior. However, any message you receive will come to both your native messenger on your phone and any DIGITS instance you are logged into. I know this can cause some confusion with fragmented threads so I would recommend using the DIGITS app that you can download from your phones store/market to send and receive SMS if you want to be able to see full message histories on other devices you log into digits with.
Never fret though as we are actively working with device OEMs to get DIGITS functionality built in to as many devices as we can so that our users can enjoy DIGITS seamlessly!

Aware of any plans to support devices like Google Nexus/Pixel with outgoing SMS syncing or is sticking with Google Voice a better bet?

Same problem here as well. Galaxy S8+ using the stock Samsung "Messages" app. If I send a message from my phones messaging app, it appears on the windows digits app as well as the web app. If I send from either the windows digits app or the web, it does not show up on my phone. I've verified that regardless of where I send the message from, the recipient does receive it, it's just very confusing to determine if a message was actually sent if I sent it from my phone and am checking the conversation in either of the digits apps.

I was actually reading this thread because my phone wasn't syncing, but I hadn't tried it today. But I just sent a message from my computer and it showed up on my S8+'s messaging app. So maybe it just took some time for it to start working right. So I set it up on Friday and it didn't work all weekend but now it does, maybe T-Mobile fixed something or it just takes a couple days to get going.

I was told today that, digits is not set up to sync outgoing messages with the pair duplicate SIM cards. I have an s8 and a s8 plus. the duplicate phone will not sync any out going messages so you will never have a full conversation on the duplicate sim phone. I ask if this even sounds like something that would make sense? The tech seemed to be a little irritated that I made that comment. I see some people say that it should sync fully if you have tmobile Samsung phones ( currant) but not sure how to get it to work with the native messaging app. Now I use the digits app and that doesn't even want to send messages out at all, I have to turn my phone off and back on to get it to sync. No help for me from the digits team.
