I read your E-mail and FWIW I hust sent a MMS group message w/image to two persons using Wi-Fi (I have it set to use Wi--Fi when at home) and it works just fine. Might not help but at least it worked from this new S8+

Thanks for trying. Can you check your APN protocols on your network settings? Mine are set to APN protocol IPv6 and APN protocol roaming IPv4. I have tried to changed them to both use IPv4/IPv6 but still no luck.

Are you using the stock messaging app? I know with certain third party apps there are some issues.

Yes, I am using the stock Google/Android app. I just installed Textra and it is working so I am thinking it's a Google Android issue and not a carrier or Samsung device issue.

I just installed Textra as a test and all works fine. It seems the issue is with the stock Android messaging app.

I'm having the same issue on my S8. (Also had the same trouble with S7 when it was first released and it was a carrier issue.) T-Mobile support filed a ticket after troubleshooting.

I was having the same problem with my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920P). I was having the same issues with the Android Messages app and when I started using Textra instead with the above APN settings, it started working again. I was using the system MMS settings and not legacy on Textra.

I'm not 100% sure it's carrier specific. I have seen many users with the same problem on other carriers. I think it's actually an issue with the stock Android Messenger app. I installed Textra and it works fine with WiFi enabled. I think the newer version of the app is what's wrong. My Nexus 6 worked perfectly with the older version of Android Messenger while on WiFi.

I can confirm this only occurs, for me, when I have Wi-Fi Calling enabled. If I turn off Wi-Fi Calling, but leave Wi-Fi on, MMS and texts work just fine. Once I turn Wi-Fi Calling on, I can no longer send/receive MMS and some texts stop working.
