Any updates the Avant is getting are most likely security patches and nothing more. Should be no issues.

Yes, I can no longer send SMS or MMS. I've deleted messages, turned off WiFi, turned on "smart network switch" - nothing is working. I have a Galaxy S7 Edge.

Hmm for those of you having issues, have you tried a master reset on the device? We aren't seeing any widespread or documented known issues.

i think i have figured out that when i'm on LTE, i cannot send messages.
but when i turn off that network, i can send messages.

Well, you should definitely be able to still send texts while on LTE. Does this seem to happen anywhere you are connected to LTE, or just a specific area?

Happy Wednesday aali324! I just wanted to see if you'd had a chance to take a look at Lauren's question above. Are you still having trouble messaging with LTE enabled?

That's no good. Have you tried sending to other numbers to make sure this isn't just happening to a few of your contacts? Also, is this happening in a specific area or have you tested in multiple areas to see if it works elsewhere?

It doesn't work when I'm at home, or at work, or in the car or ANYWHERE. It
doesn't work no matter who I text. T-Mobile is awful and zero help. What a
waste of money.

Oh goodness, aali324 - if you're not able to send messages on or off of LTE, to any contact, regardless of where you're located, then I don't blame you one bit for feeling this way. I'm so sorry we missed getting back to you here. We'd need to have you Contact Us for an issue like this so that we can check the back end provisioning on your account and make sure there aren't any errors preventing your messages from going through. From what you mentioned above it looks like you've definitely tried some basic troubleshooting steps, which are great - but just a heads up that we may walk you through a Master Reset when you work with our Tech team - if it's not a provisioning error, then that's the last resort prior to completing a warranty exchange. Text is a primary communication method for many of us these days, so it's critical that we get it working for you or get your phone replaced. Sorry again that you're going through this, and that we dropped off of this thread.

Yes, I have two problems.
1) Whenever I try to place a call, it asks me if I want wifi or carrier. Even when wifi is turned off, it will ask. In my settings, I've disabled wifi calling and selected carrier preferred but it still asks everytime I try to make a call.
2) There is a notification about my calendar not syncing that keeps appearing when my phone is on standby. Calendar syncs fine. Nothing I can do stops it from reappearing.
