Oh that's a pain trinhtattran. We really want to see you get the best battery life out of your tablet. Which one do you have? If you have a lot of 3rd party apps running in the background, that could be contributing to the battery loss. Uninstalling a few can help if that's where the problem is coming from. Another common step is turning down the screen brightness a bit to keep the device from draining too fast. If you have things like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on, but you're not using them, this can also cause the battery to quickly drain as well. Turning off setting like those when you're not using them should help you get the most out of each charge.

Thanks for that info.
What about your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings? Do you keep them on even when you're not connected? You should also take a look at our Battery life: LG G Pad X 8.0 page. It has some common ways on how to help with the battery life.

I have the data turned on only, no blue tooth or wi-fi on. I also followed the link that you sent before asking.

Okay. Well, thanks for trying. Does your device show a specific app or apps that are using the most battery power? You could try clearing the apps' cache then giving the tablet a restart. Assuming you're using the charger that came with the device, the last option would be completely resetting the device and keeping all personal data off for a bit while you test the battery life. Keep in mind, the battery life may vary slightly from what the manufacture shows it'll get, but if it's way off, I'm thinking there may be something wrong with the battery. We'd be looking at replacing the device if you reset it and it's still draining too quickly.

Hey hey! I just wanted to check in and see if you'd been able to isolate which app or service was draining your battery, or if you'd moved forward with the reset. How is everything going with your tablet?

I haven't tried to reset it at all.It still dies often despite me not using it alot. Like in two days after a full charge and I only used it for 10 minutes. I don't know if it is the apps because most of the time, the device is on idle and I checked the Battery usage. It is mostly
Android OS that drains the battery

Gotcha trinhtattran, thanks for the update! The Android OS is the operating system that the tablet is running on. So the good news is that it's not an app you've downloaded, and you don't need to delete Facebook, for instance- but the bad news is that if the operating system itself is eating your battery life, the reset is really going to be the best way to rule out whether this is standard or a defect. Before you go that far, though, you can try wiping the cache partition first! Think of it as a "reset lite". If the battery is still draining rapidly after that, even with following all of the battery tips, tmo_mike_c is right, the next step is a full Master Reset. If it's still draining too quickly then we'd have you look into a warranty replacement. Hopefully the cache partition wipe will help! Please let us know how it goes!
