Oh man, we definitely wanna get that working. Can you make sure your Lumia has a strong 3G/4G connection? You could also try a manual network selection to refresh your connection to T-Mobile. I suggest also turning the device off, and back on again then giving it another shot. Please keep us posted on the results.

More details. The text shows up on my wifi tablet like it should but it does still Does NOT show up on the duplicate line. I have on my lumia 640. and the phone shows full LTE.
I also noticed Visual Voicemail refuses to activate on the duplicate line.

The T-Mobile Visual Voicemail app will not work on my duplicate line either. The phone itself natively supports it as well, and it will not activate. It did take several hours before the line would receive any SMS messages.

Update Texts starting working this morning even after I deleted the manual apn settins. However Visual voice mail still does not. I am also noticing wifi calling does not work on the duplicate line.

Hello Mike I just replied with my details. One other quick question when i first put the sim in my lumia i got a message that the device was not authorized to access the internet. Then the internet started working about 4 hours later. I wont get charged for having two data plans right? Also on my primary device I was previously instructed to set my data roaming option to roam should I do the same on the secondary device?

Hmm, by two data plans, did you actually purchase another data plan or make any account changes? If not, then I don't see any reason you'd be charged for two data plans.
As for roaming, yes, you should enable it on the second device too. I encourage that you read over the domestic and international roaming section of the link below for important info you'll want to know about roaming:.

Sorry I asked that question poorly. Does the duplicate line inherit all of my plan from my primary phone. this includes unlimited min , unlimited text and unlimited data?

It doesn't have it's own standalone minutes, messaging, and data on the duplicate line.

Thats awesome!!! Any idea yet what pricing will be for duplicate lines once the beta ends.........i am hoping 5 bucks at most.....or better yet freeish....

With this being a beta, we don't have information about pricing yet. At this point, we just have to stay tuned for more info regarding price.
