I double checked this for ya johnny234 and it I'm seeing it'll need to be purchased with EIP in order to redeem the $200 credit. As of right now, I don't see an end date so as long as this offer is still posted online, you'll be able to take advantage of it.

Thank you!
Ya I talked to 2 Representatives and a manager. They said I need a payment plan to get the 200 but they said it would be taken out monthly but they sent me the contract and the total was 833. I told them I want to pay it off in full because it doesn't say I need a payment plan. I showed them this LG V20™ but they said to contact lg or 611 for T-Mobile.
I might try another store.
Thank you Mike!

No problem!
Ah I see what you mean. It doesn't have it listed there, so I can see the confusion. I looked at the the Questions about the V20 section at the bottome of the LG V20 page. The first question mentions EIP is part of the offer. Either way, you should be set up with EIP when you make the purchase if you wanna opt for it.

Ah crap, thank you Mike. I'll see if I set it up and try and pay it off sooner if possible. **** I hate having payment plans.

I get where you're coming from, but I thought you should see that.
We run different offers for various phones and each one has it's own terms in order to qualify. The key is keeping an eye on exactly what those terms are so you can make the best move that fits you.

So if I already signed up for the EIP and received my phone by ordering it by phone I can still bring in a 4g phone to any corporate store to get my credit?? I just want to make sure before I go into one. TIA

If you ordered it online you can associate the two in MyTMobile and send in the phone. Just copy the order number and tap the start your trade in. Put the order number and continue.
Once you get that done, and got your stuff setup
you go to T-Mobile Promotions
then you input your telephone number, and account pin with the promotion code LGV20
fill the rest out and everything should check out.

Can I just confirm that there's no expiry date on this offer? I didn't have a phone to trade in when I ordered my V20 online back on the 18th of October. I received the phone on the 20th. I was looking around my desk the other day and found an old T-Mobile Galaxy S2 that I don't need anymore. It still works. Can I send that phone in a few days to claim the $200.00 trade-in credit?

No the S2 is not a 4G phone.

Nowhere in the fine print does it say the trade-in must be a 4G phone.
"*Trade in at T-Mobile required at time of LG V20 purchase. Trade-in credit of $200 includes any remaining residual value of trade-in device. Carrier will provide credit as difference between trade-in residual value and $200. Phones with residual value above $200 do not receive additional trade-in benefit. Some restrictions may apply. See carrier for qualifying device trade-ins and details. Purchases of the new LG V20 are eligible for Free H3 by B&O PLAY earphones regardless of trade-in. Available while supplies last."

Never mind. Went to the T-Mo website and double checked and it does mention requiring a 4G phone in working order with Find my phone turned off. Understood.

Yah it isn't in the fine print, but it's there in the normal print. Some people just went to BB or CL and bought a phone for like $30 and submitted that. Doesn't matter as long as it is paid off, working, and any security locking feature disabled.

Well I finally got to my house in PA where my Galaxy S2 was sitting in a drawer. I also found the box. It's a T-Mobile GS2 and it does state right there on the package that this is an Android 4G phone. Technically, it's an HSPA+ handset so they should take it as part of the $200.00 trade in offer against the V20 I purchased.
However, when I enter the IMEI number into the website, the estimated trade in amount is $0.00. It just states above the estimate box: "If you are performing a trade-in as part of special offer, you will receive that offer as credit to your bill. "
Do I agree to this and hope I get the $200 credit to my account?

Did the rebate offer end? I can't seem to find mention of it anymore on T-Mobile's website.

Looks like it, but if you already qualified for it you can submit for it even if they don't advertise it.

You may well be wasting your time, trying to get them to do what they promised.
From where I sit, it's just another "bait-and-switch".
They got me to switch over from Verizon with a con job about a $200 bill credit, and never delivered.
I've called, sent e-mails, and tried to get a response from their web page, all to no avail.
Once they tricked me into signing on the dotted line, they took my old phone, sold me a new (OVERPRICED) LG G5 on their "EIP" Equipment Installation Plan, and billed me every month for much more than the promised $80.
After more than a dozen calls, e-mails, and snail-mail letters, all I get is the same old run around, and links to the broken web page at promotions.t-mobile.com.
My phone number is not recognized, even though it is a working number in daily use on the T-Mobile network.
someone identifying as "tmo_marissa" has responsed to my e-mails with completely unuseful info.
