I want to see how long is left on my contract but not seeing where to find that.
In order to check your contract end date you will need to contact someone in Customer Care (Dial 611 from your handset or call 1-800-937-8997). You may also be find out via Live Chat with an agent here: https://support.t-mobile.com/community/chat?view=overview.
May I ask why you are interested in your contract end date? Is there maybe something we can help you with here on the forums?
Just need to address some practical issues and would like to know when my contract ends so i can be prepared for any, or most, situation that may arise.
I bought a phone through wirefly, and they have a way to show when you are eligible for an upgrade, that date is generally close to the end of your contract by a month or two I believe.
Obviously they want to make it as difficult as possible to discourage you from leaving. Forcing you to talk to someone on the phone lets them send you to the retention department. There's no reason they couldn't let you check the contract status on the web site.
Use this link to find your upgrade and contract end dates.
That's ridiculous. Post it on my account online. I do not want to speak to Customer Care. Forcing me to call in is bad customer service. Don't be Comcast. Everyone hates Comcast. There is no reason I need to call in to know how much time is left on my contract. It's a stupid, pointless waste of my time and the poor service rep who has to take the call. I have been with T-Mobile for about six years, but bad customer service like this will chase me away.
