It looks like you didn't get an April Security Patch.
That could mean one of two things:
1) Your device is no longer being supported (doesn't sound like it if they released Marshmallow just now)
B) Marshmallow is around the corner

No T-Mobile Priv customer got an April security patch. Because Marshmallow is coming sometime the first half of this month.

Yes, where is the Marshmallow 6.0 update for the PRIV? All apps already updated to support it.

I love that you can control ap permissions to deny location in marshmallow. So as long as I can use proxy settings not only my phones privacy, as well as my networks provacy is protected.

We have two guesses one May 9th (its the 10th) and one for the 15th...
I mean it's going to be a huge upgrade, I know there's some security things to give T-Mobile exscusive control of devices, logo's and the infamous T-Mobile jingle ring tone.
So I can wait for as long as it takes, or else I'm reporting my phone stolen... and upgrading to one of the other flagship phones, say the Nexus 6P?

So you are going to commit insurance fraud... Nice. Make sure you delete that just in case.

Any update on when this will be available??? I'm about to pay the Jump difference and get a Samsung 7 phone. This Blackberry is the worst phone I've had since the Blackberry Bold (you would think I would have learned my lesson from that). It overheats, hangs, drains the battery far faster than any phone I have had (my Samsung Note 4 used to last a day and more, while the Blackberry PRIV is on the charger after 8 hours). I've been able to convince several people NOT to get this terrible excuse for an Android phone; I keep holding out hope that the MM release will fix many of these problems and it might at least be usable until my JUMP period is complete.

STILL NO UPDATE?!? WOW these networks are really trying to demonize blackberry big time. Blackberry should be able to sue for putting out updates for other devices and not the other when blackberry already pushed the Marshmallow update to all PRIV phones a long time ago, there are PRIV phones now with the update. By U.S networks not pushing the update is stopping consumers to make a better informed decision on which device to purchase.

Every Canadian carrier has marshmallow, yet American carriers don't have it yet.
Probably because they can't add their own control to a phone that can't be rooted.... Well if I can't get a locked priv with marshmellow, I want a refund.

Not just Canada, the rest of the world is running Marshmallow on the PRIV. These bums of a network thinks this is a popularity contest with devices. We just want to use our phones to the best of their ability. And yes PRIV is better than the Samsung pause and freeze screen.

I’m told that Priv stands for Privacy and Privilege? There are some notable security issues with Android 5.##, that 6.0 address, BlackBerry came out and updated the phones OS, I had a Priv from ATT, used it for a month on T-Mobile, it worked fine, Wi-Fi calling, LTE everything, I traded it in for the T-Mobile version, hoping that the update would come sooner than later. It doesn’t appear to be coming anytime soon, my guess it’s the bloat wear they have to (re-write) and install into the phone. If an ATT phone works on the network, then it’s something else, maybe T-Mobile’s version of Verizon’s super cookie that tracks everything you do?? I’m about to return the phone within my 14 days return period, and go back to Apple.

I was looking for new topics @ http://forums.crackberry.com and found where there's a whole T-Mobile section. And I stumbled upon a Marshmallow for Priv topic that users have been getting access to test beta on the PRIV. So I would suspect that if we could combine some resources with the BB beta testers this NEW OPERATING SYSTEM should be out fairly soon.
(I just hope it's sooner than later)

I went to the Blackberry site a day after the beta opened and all the slots were full. It's great for the chosen few (or fast few) that were able to get in.Now they are announcing security updates for the release that T-Mobile hasn't released to the general public yet!

Hey folks.
I wish I had more info for you, but we don't have any word about Marshmallow for this phone. Like our other devices, you'll need to check the phone's main page for the latest software details. Thanks.

Yeah, when the heck are we getting the update???? I'm not comfortable not having at least a security patch update (have not received one since March!) for almost 3 months now. Blackberry promised monthly security patches. What gives, T-Mobile????

I've taken back the BlackBerry within the 14 day period, went back to Apple, I can't wait for T-Mobile to update software, I need issues corrected ASAP, I work in the medical field and i need a HIPA compliment phone.

It would be nice to get this going. On the old Blackberrys i could just force an update from another carrier. That is one thing I am going to miss. I rarely ran T- mobile OSs. They take too long "testing" And of course now i am really worried about the update, since the Priv is no longer on thier site... Dont leave us high and dry on this!!!

They don't take too long testing. There been a few projects that point to carriers taking no longer than 2 weeks on average when it comes to testing. There were other things that took up more, but that fell on deaf ears because it's more convenient to blame carriers as they are closest to contact.
