Block calls

Block calls from a number

To block incoming calls from a number, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, touch the Contacts icon.
  2. Touch the contact that you want to block.
  3. Press the Menu key.
  4. Touch Options.
  5. Select the Incoming Calls check box.

 

 

Unblock a number

To allow incoming calls from a number you previously blocked, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, touch the Contacts icon.
  2. Touch the contact that you want to block.
  3. Press the Menu key.
  4. Touch Options.
  5. Clear the Incoming Calls check box.

Call forwarding

Cancel call forwarding

To turn off or cancel call forwarding that you have set up, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch Call settings.
  4. Touch Call forwarding.
  5. Touch Always forward.
  6. Touch Disable.

 

 

Forward all calls (unconditional)

Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.

 

To forward all calls, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch Call settings.
  4. Touch Call forwarding.
  5. Touch Always forward.
  6. If desired, touch the call forwarding number.
  7. Enter a new forwarding number.
  8. Touch Enable.
    Note: The number for voice mail forwarding is +18056377249.

 

 

Forward some calls (conditional)

Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).

 

To turn on conditional call forwarding which forwards some calls, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch Call settings.
  4. Touch Call forwarding.
  5. Touch Forward when busy, Forward when unanswered, or Forward when unreachable.
  6. If desired, touch the call forwarding number.
  7. Enter a new forwarding number.
  8. Touch Update.
    Note: The number for voice mail forwarding is +18056377249.

Call log

Reset call log

To reset or clear the call log or history, follow these steps:

 

  1. From Home screen, press the Call key.
  2. Tap Call log.
  3. Press the Menu key.
  4. Tap Clear call log.

 

 

View call log

Call logs may approximate the amount of time you have spent on phone calls, but they do not accurately show how much time T-Mobile bills.

 

To view call logs or history, follow these steps:

 

  1. From Home screen, press the Call key.
  2. Tap Call log.

Touch tones (DTMF)

Turn on / off touch tones (DTMF)

To turn on or turn off touch tones when dialing, follow these steps:

 

DTMF tones are on by default. You cannot turn off DTMF tones.
