Pair Bluetooth device

To turn on Bluetooth and pair with a headset or other device, follow these steps:

 

  1. On the main screen, tap Menu.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Bluetooth.
  4. Tap Turn on.
  5. Tap the icon of the desired device.
    • Note: Verify the device you want to connect to is in pairing mode.
  6. Enter the passcode of the device, if prompted.
    • Note: Refer to the documentation for your Bluetooth device for information about the passcode.
  7. Tap OK.

 

 

Turn on / off Bluetooth

To turn on or turn off Bluetooth, follow these steps:

 

  1. On the main screen, tap Menu.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Bluetooth.
  4. Tap Turn off.

GPS

Turn on / off GPS

To turn on or turn off GPS, follow these steps:

 

  1. On the main screen, tap Menu.
    • Note: You can also tap the TeleNav widget on the Widget Bar as a shortcut.
  2. Tap Applications.
  3. Tap Games and Apps.
  4. Tap TeleNav Navig.
  5. Tap Agree.
  6. Tap the First Name text field to open the keypad.
  7. Enter your first name.
  8. Tap Done.
  9. Tap the Last Name text field to open the keypad.
  10. Enter your last name.
  11. Tap Done.
  12. Tap Done.

Manual network selection

To manually select the wireless network the device connects to, follow these steps:

 

  1. On the main screen, tap Menu.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Touch and slide the screen upward.
  4. Tap Network selection.
  5. Tap Search now.
  6. Tap the desired network.
  7. Tap Tap.

 

The device detects and registers on wireless networks inside T-Mobile’s calling area, but roaming networks are usually restricted to T-Mobile SIM cards. You can manually select a network only in areas where T-Mobile does not own GSM spectrum.

 

 

Switch 2G / 4G / LTE

To change the band between 2G, 4G, and LTE, follow these steps:

 

  1. Dial *#6984125*# from the dial pad.
  2. Select Network & call settings.
  3. Select Network mode.
  4. Select GSM 850/1900.
  5. Press Select.

 

 

Turn on / off Airplane mode

Airplane mode turns off wireless connections. This allows you to use apps and menus, but not make calls or use the internet.

 

To turn on or turn off airplane mode, follow these steps:

 

  1. On the main screen, tap Menu.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Phone settings.
  4. At Airplane mode, tap On or Off.

 

 

Turn on / off data roaming

To turn on or turn off data roaming, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen, tap Menu.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Application settings.
  4. Tap Data roaming.
  5. Tap Enable or Disable.
  6. Tap Save.
