Back up media & pictures

To back up your media and pictures, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Applications.
  4. Tap USB settings.
  5. Tap Mass storage.
  6. Connect the USB cord to the phone, then to a computer.
  7. Tap Connect  storage to PC.
  8. Tap OK.
  9. On the computer, select the desired option and folder.
  10. On the computer, drag and drop the desired file from the phone onto the computer desktop or into a folder on the computer.
  11. When finished, tap Disconnect storage from PC on the phone and safely disconnect the  USB cord from the computer.

To restore backed up media and pictures, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Applications.
  4. Tap USB settings.
  5. Tap Mass storage.
  6. Connect the USB cord to the phone, then to a computer.
  7. Tap Connect storage to PC.
  8. Tap OK.
  9. On the computer, select the desired folder location on the device.
  10. Drag and drop the desired file from the computer into the desired folder on the device.
  11. When finished, tap Disconnect storage from PC on the phone and safely disconnect the  USB cord from the computer.
