Set custom sounds

Notifications

To change the notification sounds, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Select Personalize.
  4. Select Sound settings.
  5. Scroll to and select Message tone.
  6. Select Tone.
  7. Select one of the following options:
    • Message tone 1
    • Message tone 2
    • Message tone 3
    • Message tone 4
  8. Scroll to Alert type.
  9. Scroll left or right and select one of the following options:
    • Melody
    • Vibration
    • Vibration then melody
    • Vibration and melody
    • Off
  10. Scroll to Repetition.
  11. Scroll left or right and select one of the following options:
    • Once
    • Every 1 min
    • Every 2 mins
  12. If necessary, select Save.

 

 

Ringtones

To change the ringtone, follow these steps:

 

Ringtone for all calls

  1. From the main screen, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Media.
  3. Scroll to and select Sounds.
  4. Select from the following options:
    • Hottest Ringtones to download ringtones from MobileLife Web
      1. Scroll to search and select the category and ringtone.
      2. Select Yes or scroll to and select PREVIEW or BUY NOW.
      3. Select Set As.
      4. Select Ringtone.
    • Browse CallerTunes to download ringtones from MobileLife Web
      1. Scroll to search and select the category and ringtone.
      2. Select Yes or scroll to and select PREVIEW or BUY NOW.
      3. Select Set As.
      4. Select Ringtone.
    • Sounds to select preloaded ringtones
      1. Scroll to the desired sound.
      2. Select Options.
      3. Scroll to and select Set as.
      4. Select one of the following options:
    • Default ringtone
    • Individual ringtone
    • Alarm tone
    • Voice list to access the Voice recorder
      1. Scroll to the desired file.
      2. Select Options.
      3. Scroll to and select Set as.
      4. Select one of the following options:

     

    Ringtone for calls from one contact

    Note: You can assign ringer ID to contacts stored on the phone, but not to those stored on the SIM card.

     

    1. From the main screen, press the Navigation key down to access Contacts.
    2. Scroll to the desired contact.
    3. Select Options.
    4. Select Edit.
    5. Scroll to and select Ringtone.
    6. Press the Center Select key to Add or Change from the following:
      • Default melodies
        1. Scroll to the default melody you want to use.
        2. Press the Center Select key to play or press the Left Soft key to select.
      • Voice list
        1. Scroll to the voice file you want to use.
        2. Press the Center Select key to play or press the Left Soft key to select.
      • Sounds
        1. Scroll to the sound file you want to use.
        2. Press the Center Select key to play or press the Left Soft key to select.
      • Music
        1. Scroll to the music file you want to use.
        2. Press the Center Select key to play or press the Left Soft key to select.
    7. Select Save

    Transfer music or sounds to use
