Notifications

To change the notification sounds, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select Personalize.
  4. Select Sound settings.
  5. Select Options.
  6. Scroll to and select Edit.
  7. Scroll to and select Message tone.
  8. Scroll to and select Sounds.
  9. Scroll to and select the desired ringtone.
  10. Select Add.
  11. Select Options.
  12. Scroll to and select Save.

 

 

Ringtones

To change the ringtone, follow these steps:

 

Ringtone for all calls

 

  1. From the main screen, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select Personalize.
  4. Select Sound settings.
  5. Select Options.
  6. Scroll to and select Edit.
  7. Scroll to and select Ringtone.
  8. Scroll to and select Sounds.
  9. Scroll to and select the desired ringtone.
  10. Select Add.
  11. Select Options.
  12. Scroll to and select Save.

 

Ringtone for calls from one contact

 

  1. From the Home screen, press Menu.
  2. Scroll and select Phonebook.
  3. Scroll and select Contact list.
  4. Scroll to contact and press Options.
  5. Select Edit.
  6. Scroll to Ringtone and select Add.
  7. Choose ringtone.

Transfer

Transfer music or sounds to use

Some devices require you to transfer music, sounds, or other audio files to the device in a certain way for it to be used for ringtones and notifications. To transfer these files, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen on the phone, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Personalize.
  3. Scroll to and select Phone settings.
  4. Scroll to and select USB mode.
  5. Scroll to and select Mass storage.
  6. Connect the included USB cord to the slot on the upper-right side of the phone first, then to your computer.
  7. When a Portable Device window appears on your computer, click Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer.
  8. Click OK.
  9. On the computer, double-click the folder in the phone's drive to access your files.
  10. Drag and drop the music files you want to copy from your computer into the memory card folder.
  11. When you are finished, click the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the lower-right corner of your computer screen.
  12. Click Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device.
