Manual network selection

To manually select the wireless network the device connects to, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen, press Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select Network services.
  4. Scroll to and select Network selection.
  5. Scroll to and select Default setup.
  6. Scroll to and select Manual.
  7. After the phone finishes scanning available networks, scroll to and select  the desired network.
    • The phone attempts to register with the selected network.

 

The device detects and registers on wireless networks inside T-Mobile’s calling area, but roaming networks are usually restricted to T-Mobile SIM cards. You can manually select a network only in areas where T-Mobile does not own GSM spectrum.

 

 

Switch 2G / 4G / LTE
