Delete picture messages (MMS)

To delete picture messages (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Application Tray button.
  2. Tap Messaging.
  3. Locate the message you want to delete.
  4. Touch and hold the message.
  5. Tap Delete.
  6. Tap Yes.

 

 

Delete text messages (SMS)

To delete text messages (SMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Application Tray button.
  2. Tap Messaging.
  3. Tap the Menu key.
  4. Tap Delete threads.
  5. Tap Delete.


Delete individual text messages


  1. From the Home screen, tap the Application Tray button.
  2. Tap Messaging.
  3. Locate the message you want to delete.
  4. Touch and hold the message.
  5. Tap Delete message.
  6. Tap Delete.

 

 

Save pictures received in a message (MMS)

To save a picture you received as a picture message (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen, select Menu.
  2. Select Messages.
  3. Scroll to and select Inbox.
  4. Scroll and select the message.
  5. Press Options.
  6. Select Save media.
  7. Press Options.
  8. Select Save in My files.
  9. Select either Selected or All.

Send a group text message (SMS)

To write and send text messages (SMS) to a group, follow these steps:

Send a new picture or video in a message (MMS)

To take a new picture or video and send it as a picture message (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Application Tray button.
  2. Tap Messaging.
  3. Tap the Menu key.
  4. Tap Compose.
  5. Tap the To field.
  6. Enter the phone number or contact name.
  7. Note: Contacts appear as you enter text.
  8. If the contact appears, tap the contact.
  9. Tap the Type to compose field.
  10. Enter the text of your message Tap the Menu key.
  11. Tap Attach.
  12. Tap Capture picture.
  13. Frame the subject.
  14. Tap the Camera icon to take the photo.
  15. When finished, tap OK.
  16. Tap the Menu key to view more editing features, add attachments, and select additional recipient and delivery options.
  17. When finished, tap Send.

 

 

Send a saved picture or video in a message (MMS)

To send pictures or videos you have saved on your device as a picture message (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Application Tray button.
  2. Tap Gallery.
  3. Locate and tap the folder that contains the image file you want to send.
  4. Touch and hold the file.
  5. Tap Share.
  6. Tap Messaging.
  7. Tap the To field.
  8. Enter the phone number or contact name.
  9. Note: Contacts appear as you enter text.
  10. If the contact appears, tap the contact.
  11. Tap the Menu key to view more editing features, add attachments, and select additional recipient and delivery options.
  12. When finished, tap Send.
