Block calls

Block calls from a number

To block incoming calls from a number, follow these steps:

 

Note: This is for the T219s model only.

 

  1. From the main screen, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Phonebook.
  3. Scroll to and select Block List.  
    • Note: If the Block List does not have phone numbers listed,  'Empty' appears.
  4. Press Options.
  5. Scroll to and select Add New.
  6. To add a number to the Block List, select one of the following options:  
    • Number: Allows you to block the number you manually enter.
    • Contacts: Allows you to block contacts from the contact  list.
    • Groups: Allows you to block an entire group.
    • FDN Contacts: Allows you to identify FDN contacts to block.
    • Recent Calls: Allows you to block a contact from the recent  contacts list.
    • >Unknown Numbers: Adds all unrecognized  numbers to the block list. This is specific to callers that show up as 'Unknown'  on the caller ID screen.
  7. Press Save.  
    • The number is added to the Block List.

 

 

Unblock a number

To allow incoming calls from a number you previously blocked, follow these steps:

 

Note: This is for the T219s model only.

 

  1. From the main screen, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Phonebook.
  3. Scroll to and select, Block List.
  4. Scroll to and select the number to delete.
  5. Press Options.
  6. Scroll to and select Remove.
  7. Scroll to and select Selected, or select  All to remove all numbers from the Block List.  
    • The number is deleted from the Block List

Call forwarding

Cancel call forwarding

To turn off or cancel call forwarding that you have set up, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select Network services.
  4. Scroll to and select Call forwarding.
  5. Scroll to and select Cancel all.

 

 

Forward all calls (unconditional)

Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.

 

To forward all calls, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen, press Menu .
  2. Scroll to and select Settings .
  3. Scroll to and select Network services .
  4. Select Call forwarding .
  5. Select Forward always .
  6. Select Voice calls .
  7. At Voice calls , press the Left or Right Navigation key to select Activate .
  8. Scroll to Forward to and type the desired number.
  9. Press the OK key.
    • You can also select Options and then Phonebook to select from your phonebook.
  10. Press the red End key to exit.

 

 

Forward some calls (conditional)

Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).

 

To turn on conditional call forwarding which forwards some calls, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen, press Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select Network services.
  4. Select Call forwarding.
  5. Select from the following: 
    • Busy
    • No reply
    • Unreachable
  6. Select Voice calls.
  7. At Voice calls, press the Left or Right Navigation  key to select Activate.
  8. Scroll to Forward to and type 1-805-637-7249 (if not already  entered).
  9. Press the OK  key.
  10. Press the red End  key  to exit

Call log

Reset call log

To reset or clear the call log or history, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen, press Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Call records.
  3. Scroll to and select Call Time.
  4. Scroll to and select from the following: 
    • Last call time
    • Total outgoing
    • Total incoming
  5. Select Reset.
  6. Select Yes to confirm.
  7. Type the password. 
    • NOTE: The default password is 00000000 (eight  zeros).
  8. Select OK.
  9. Press the red End key  to exit

 

 

View call log

Call logs may approximate the amount of time you have spent on phone calls, but they do not accurately show how much time T-Mobile bills.

 

To view call logs or history, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen, press Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Call records.
  3. Scroll to and select Call time.
  4. Scroll to and select one of the following:
    • Last call time
    • Total outgoing
    • Total incoming
    • Life time
  5. Press the red End key  to exit

Touch tones (DTMF)

Turn on / off touch tones (DTMF)

To turn on or turn off touch tones when dialing, follow these steps:
