To view the amount of free internal memory, follow these steps:

 

View phone memory - Phonebook

 

  1. From the main screen, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select People.
  3. Scroll to and select Management.
  4. Scroll to and select Memory status to view the number of contacts saved to the phone’s memory.

 

View phone memory - Pictures, videos

 

  1. From the main screen, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Media.
  3. Scroll to and select Others.
  4. Scroll to and select Memory status.
  5. View the memory for pictures, videos.

View free storage space

To view the amount of free internal storage, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Media.
  3. Scroll to and select Others.
  4. Scroll to and select Memory card.
  5. Select Options.
  6. Scroll to and select Memory card info.
  7. Select Files.
  8. Scroll to and select Memory status.

Insert / remove SD card

To insert or remove the SD card, follow these steps:

 

To insert

 

  1. Open the memory card slot cover on the left side of your phone.
  2. Gently slide the memory card into the memory card slot with the gold contacts facing down.
  3. Press the card into the slot until it clicks into place.
  4. Close the memory slot cover.

 

To remove

  1. Open the memory card slot cover on the left side of your phone.
  2. Gently press the memory card into the slot until it clicks.
  3. Release the card and it will pop out slightly.
  4. Gently slide the memory card out of the memory card slot.

 

 

Open or delete files using a computer

To open or delete files on the SD card using a computer, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen on the phone, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Select Personalize.
  4. Scroll to and select Phone settings.
  5. Scroll to and select USB mode.
  6. Scroll to and select Mass storage.
  7. Connect a USB cord to the phone first, then to your computer.
  8. When a Portable Device window appears on your computer, click Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer.

  1. Click OK.
  2. On the computer, double click the folder in the phone’s drive to access your files.
  3. Right click the file you want to delete and select Delete.
  4. Select Yes.
  5. When you are finished, click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the system tray of your computer.
  6. Click Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device.

 

 

Open or delete files using the device

To open or delete files on the SD card using the device, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Media.
  3. Scroll to and select Others.
  4. Scroll to and select Memory card.
  5. Scroll to the desired folder and select Open.
  6. Scroll to the file you want to delete.
  7. Select Options.
  8. Scroll to and select Delete.
  9. Select one of the following options:
    • Selected
    • Multiple
  10. Select Delete.
  11. Select Yes.

Transfer files between computer & SD card

To transfer files and pictures between the computer and SD card, follow these steps:


  1. From the main screen on the phone, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Select Personalize.
  4. Scroll to and select Phone settings.
  5. Scroll to and select USB mode.
  6. Scroll to and select Mass storage.
  7. Connect a USB cord to the phone first, then to your computer.
  8. When a Portable Device window appears on your computer, click Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer.

  1. Click OK.
  2. On the computer, double click the folder in the phone’s drive to access your files.
  3. Drag and drop the file from your computer into the memory card folder.
  4. When you are finished, click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon in in the system tray of your computer.
  5. Click Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device.

To transfer files and pictures between the internal storage and SD card, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Media.
  3. Select one of the following options:
    • Games and Apps
    • Sounds
    • Images
    • Photos
    • Music
    • Videos
    • Others
  4. Scroll to the folder or file you want to move.
  5. Select Options.
  6. Scroll to and select Move to memory card.
  7. Select one of the following options:
    • Move to selected folder
    • Move here
      • Create folder and Move in
    1. Scroll to the desired folder and select Options.
    2. Select one of the following options:
      • Copy to selected folder
      • Copy here
      • Create folder and copy in
    3. Enter the new folder name.
    4. Select Save.
    5. Select Move.
    6. Press the Center Select key to select or clear the check boxes next to the file(s) you want to move.
    7. Select Move.
    8. Scroll to the desired folder and select Options.
    9. Select one of the following options:
      • Selected
      • Multiple
    10. Enter the new folder name.
    11. Select Save.

 

 

View free SD card space

To view the amount of free SD card storage, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Media.
  3. Scroll to and select Others.
  4. Scroll to and select Memory card.
  5. Select Options.
  6. Scroll to and select Memory card info.
