Bluetooth

Pair Bluetooth device

To turn on Bluetooth and pair with a headset or other device, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Widget bar tab.
  2. Scroll to and tap the Bluetooth widget.
  3. Tap Turn on or tap the Phone icon in the center of the screen to turn on Bluetooth®.
  4. Touch the icon of the preferred device from the search results.
  5. Enter the PIN (default: ’0000′ – four zeros)

 

 

Turn on / off Bluetooth

To turn on or turn off Bluetooth, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Widget bar tab.
  2. Scroll to and tap the Bluetooth widget.
  3. Tap Turn of, Turn on, or tap the Phone icon in the center of the screen to turn off Bluetooth®.

Manual network selection

To manually select the wireless network the device connects to, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Menu, tap Settings.
  2. Scroll to and tap Network selection.
  3. Tap Search now.
  4. Scroll to and tap wireless network.

 

The device detects and registers on wireless networks inside T-Mobile’s calling area, but roaming networks are usually restricted to T-Mobile SIM cards. You can manually select a network only in areas where T-Mobile does not own GSM spectrum.

 

 

Switch 2G / 4G / LTE

To change the band between 2G, 4G, and LTE, follow these steps:

 

  1. Open the dial pad.
  2. Dial *#6984125*#
  3. Select Network & call settings.
  4. Select Network mode.
  5. Select GSM 850/1900.
  6. Hit Select.

 

To change the band to 3G, follow these steps:

  1. Open the dial pad.
  2. Dial *#6984125*#
  3. Select Network & call settings.
  4. Select Network mode.
  5. Select Automatic.
  6. Hit Select.

 

 

Turn on / off Airplane mode

Airplane mode turns off wireless connections. This allows you to use apps and menus, but not make calls or use the internet.

 

To turn on or turn off airplane mode, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Menu, tap Settings.
  2. Scroll to and tap Phone settings.
  3. Scroll to Airplane mode.
  4. Tap On or Off.

 

 

Turn on / off data roaming

To turn on or turn off data roaming, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Menu, tap Settings.
  2. Scroll to and tap Application settings.
  3. Tap Data roaming.
  4. Tap Enable or Disable.
  5. Tap Save.
