Voice dial a contact

To use voice dialing to call a contact, follow these steps:

 

From the shortcut

 

  1. From the Home screen, press LeftConvenience key (on the side of the device).
  2. Say Call and then immediately say the name of a contact or a phone number.
  3. Say Yes to call the contact.
    • Note: If the device cannot identify which contact you are referring to, it may provide you with several options to select.

 

From the menu

  1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
  2. Scroll to and select Applications.
  3. Scroll to and select Voice Dialing.
  4. Say Call and then immediately say the name of a contact or a phone number.
  5. Say Yes to call the contact.
    • Note: If the device cannot identify which contact you are referring to, it may provide you with several options to select.
