Back up apps

To back up your apps, follow these steps:

Back up contacts

To back up your contacts, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch Accounts & sync.
  4. Under Manage accounts, touch T-Mobile.
  5. Touch Sync now.

 

 

Back up media & pictures

To back up your media and pictures, follow these steps:

 

  1. Connect the device to your computer using the USB cable.
  2. From the Home screen, touch the top of the screen and drag down to display the notifications window.
  3. Touch Disk Drive / Select to change USB connection type.
  4. Touch Disk drive.
  5. Touch Done.
  6. On the computer when the Removable Disk window appears, click Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Copy and paste or drag and drop the file to a folder on your computer,
  9. When you are done moving files, click the Safely Remove Hardware icon.
  10. Click Safely remove Mass Storage Device.
  11. Disconnect the device from the computer.

Restore data

Restore apps

To restore backed up apps, follow these steps:

 

Apps will be available to re-download upon the next time you sign into your Gmail account.

 

 

Restore contacts

To restore backed up contacts, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch Accounts & sync.
  4. Under Manage accounts, touch T-Mobile.
  5. Touch Sync now.

 

 

Restore media & pictures

To restore backed up media and pictures, follow these steps:

 

  1. Connect the device to your computer using the USB cable.
  2. From the Home screen, touch the top of the screen and drag down to display the notifications window.
  3. Touch Disk Drive / Select to change USB connection type.
  4. Touch Disk drive.
  5. Touch Done.
  6. On the computer when the Removable Disk window appears, click Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Copy and paste or drag and drop the file to a folder on your computer,
  9. When you are done moving files, click the Safely Remove Hardware icon.

10.  Click Safely remove Mass Storage Device.

11.  Disconnect the device from the computer.
