Back up contacts

To back up your contacts, follow these steps:

 

This device automatically activates Mobile Backup on first connection to the network.

 

 

Back up media & pictures

To back up your media and pictures, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen on the phone, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Select Personalize.
  4. Scroll to and select Phone settings.
  5. Scroll to and select USB Mode.
  6. Scroll to and select Mass storage.
  7. Connect the included USB cord to the phone first, then to your computer.

  8. On your computer, a Portable Device window will appear. Click Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer.

  9. Click OK.
  10. On the computer, double click the folder in the phone’s drive to access your files.
  11. Drag and drop the file from the folder onto your computer desktop or into another folder.
  12. When you are finished, click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the lower right-hand corner of your computer screen.
  13. Click Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device.

        Caution: Do not disconnect USB during file transfer.

To restore backed up contacts, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen, press the Navigation key down.
  2. Select Options.
  3. Scroll to and select Mobile backup.
  4. Select Last sync.
  5. Select Sync.

 

 

Restore media & pictures

To restore backed up media and pictures, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the main screen on the phone, select Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Select Personalize.
  4. Scroll to and select Phone settings.
  5. Scroll to and select USB Mode.
  6. Scroll to and select Mass storage.
  7. Connect the included USB cord to the phone first, then to your computer.

  8. On your computer, a Portable Device window will appear. Click Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer.

  9. Click OK.
  10. On the computer, double click the folder in the phone’s drive to access your files.
  11. Drag and drop the file from your computer into the memory card folder.
  12. When you are finished, click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the lower right-hand corner of your computer screen.
  13. Click Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device.
