  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Storage.

Browser cache

To clear the mobile browser cache, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications applications_icon.png icon.
  2. If necessary, tap the All apps icon located in the lower right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap Internet.
  4. Tap the Menu menu_key.png key.
  5. Tap More.
  6. Tap Settings.
  7. Scroll to and tap to select one of the following:
    • Clear all cookie data
    • Clear cache
    • Clear history
    • Clear form data
    • Clear passwords
  8. Tap OK.

 

 

Browser cookies

To clear the mobile browser cookies, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications applications_icon.png icon.
  2. If necessary, tap the All apps icon located in the lower right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap Internet.
  4. Tap the Menu menu_key.png key.
  5. Tap More.
  6. Tap Settings.
  7. Scroll to and tap to select one of the following:
    • Clear all cookie data
    • Clear cache
    • Clear history
    • Clear form data
    • Clear passwords
  8. Tap OK.

To clear the mobile browser history, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications applications_icon.png icon.
  2. If necessary, tap the All apps icon located in the lower right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap Internet.
  4. Tap the Menu menu_key.png key.
  5. Tap More.
  6. Tap Settings.
  7. Scroll to and tap to select one of the following:

Browser windows open / close

To open a new browser window or close one, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Web page, tap the Menu menu_key.png key.
  2. Tap Windows.
  3. Tap the Plus icon.
  4. In the URL field, enter your search text or Web address and tap the Search icon or select from the drop-down list.

 

 

Turn on / off JavaScript

To turn on or turn off JavaScript in the mobile browser, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications applications_icon.png icon.
  2. If necessary, tap the All apps icon.
  3. Tap Internet.
  4. Tap the Menu menu_key.png key.
  5. Tap More.
  6. Tap Settings.
  7. Scroll to and tap the Enable JavaScript check box.

Background data

To turn on or turn off background data, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu menu_key.png key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Accounts & sync.
  4. Tap Background data to enable/disable the feature.

 

 

Sync apps & accounts

To add or edit apps and accounts to sync, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu menu_key.png key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Accounts & sync.
  4. Tap the account you would like to sync.
  5. If necessary, tap the item(s) you would like to sync.
  6. Tap Sync now.
