Manage messages

Add SMS service center number

To add or change the SMS service center number, follow these steps:

 

  1. Tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap Keypad.
  3. Dial **5005*7672*+12063130004#.
  4. Tap Call.
  5. Turn the device off and back on.

 

 

Delete picture messages (MMS)

To delete picture messages (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Tap the Delete.jpg to the right of the thread containing the message(s) you want to delete.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. Tap Done.

 

 

Delete text messages (SMS)

To delete text messages (SMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Tap the Delete.jpg to the right of the thread containing the message(s) you want to delete.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. Tap Done.

 

 

Save pictures received in a message (MMS)

To save a picture you received as a picture message (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. Tap on the picture in the desired picture message.
  2. Tap the action icon at the top right hand corner.
  3. Tap Save to Camera Roll.

Send messages

Send a group text message (SMS)

To write and send text messages (SMS) to a group, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap the New Messagenew email.jpg icon.
  3. Enter the first number or contact in the To field.
  4. Repeat step 3 for each additional number or contact.
  5. Enter the message.
  6. Tap Send.

 

 

Send a new picture or video in a message (MMS)

To take a new picture or video and send it as a picture message (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap the New Messagenew email.jpg icon.
  3. Enter the first number or contact in the To field.
  4. Tap the Camera icon.
  5. Tap Take Photo.
  6. Take the photo or video.
  7. Tap Use.
  8. Tap Send.

 

 

Send a saved picture or video in a message (MMS)

To send pictures or videos you have saved on your device as a picture message (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap the New Messagenew email.jpg icon.
  3. Enter the first number or contact in the To field.
  4. Tap the Camera icon.
  5. Tap Choose Existing.
  6. Select the photo or video.
  7. Tap Choose.
  8. Tap Send.
