Beginning October 5, the LG G2 will begin receiving notifications of a software update to software version D80130c. This update provides features and improvements:

To check the current software version, follow these steps:
Your software is up to date. There are no updates available.

Your phone can update to software version D80130c:

Your phone has non-T-Mobile software, and it is unsupported. The manufacturer and T-Mobile cannot update your software.
To be able to update to the current software version, the below requirements must be met:
You will receive notification of an update sometime starting October 5. Your phone will notify you when it is ready to update. If your phone has not received an OTA message, see Software update: Download below.

Install device drivers
In order to connect your phone to your PC, you must download and install the latest driver to your PC. Download the device driver from http://www.lg.com/us/mobile-phones/TMUS_Update. After the driver has been installed, restart the computer.

In order to update the software on your phone, you must download and install the LG Mobile Support Tool to your PC. Download the LG Mobile Support Tool from http://www.lg.com/us/mobile-phones/TMUS_Update.
