JUMP!™ gives you the freedom to upgrade your phone when you want, not when you're told, without hassle, and with no restrictions.
There's no initial waiting period. T-Mobile will pay your remaining EIP balance, up to half of your original device purchase price. Any remaining EIP balance not covered by us will need to be paid by you at the time of the upgrade.
JUMP! also provides comprehensive protection against accidental damage, malfunction due to mechanical breakdown, loss, or theft for $9 or $12 per month per phone.
If you're ready to upgrade your phone, be sure to visit a T-Mobile retail store, as JUMP! upgrades cannot be done over the phone. If you can't get to a store, you can also perform an upgrade through My T-Mobile (see Upgrade your phone through JUMP! below).
The JUMP! upgrade process is simple. Just trade in your current, eligible, EIP-financed phone, and select a new device! As long as you pay half of the device purchase price, we'll pay the other half. A down payment might be necessary.
Be sure to visit a T-Mobile retail store, as JUMP! upgrades cannot be done over the phone. If you can't get to a store, you can also perform an upgrade through My T-Mobile. For more information, read How to perform a JUMP! upgrade.
