Camera settings

To change the settings for taking and displaying pictures, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications image006.jpg icon.
  2. Scroll to and tap Camera.

Note: The following settings descriptions refer to holding the camera in the horizontal Landscape Mode.

Focus

Tap the area of the viewfinder screen you want in focus. Settings on bottom of screen:

Zoom

Use the Volume up and Volume down keys to zoom in or zoom out. OR

  1. Tap the view finder screen to display the zoom bar.
  2. Touch and drag the slider to zoom in or zoom out.

Settings on left-hand side of screen (when help in landscape mode):

Scenes

Note: the default scene is Auto and is represented as an A (Auto) icon. The Scenes icon is found at top-left of screen.

Flash

Tap the Flash icon to change from Automatic flash(default) to Flash to No flash.

Front/Back

  1. Tap the Back icon to change to the Front facing camera.
  2. Tap the Front icon to return to the Back camera.

 

Camera/Video mode

  1. Tap the Camera icon to change to Video mode.
  2. Tap the Video icon to return to Camera mode.

Settings on right-hand side of screen:

Shutter icon

Tap the Shutter  icon to take a photo.

Gallery

Tap the Gallery icon to view the most recent photo. Settings available by tapping the Menu image008.jpg key:

Set default camera storage

To change if the camera stores pictures on the internal memory (ROM) or SD card, follow these steps:

Pictures & videos

Delete a picture or video

To delete pictures or videos from the gallery, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications image006.jpg icon.
  2. Scroll to and tap Gallery.
  3. Navigate to and tap the desired group of pictures.
  4. Tap More.
  5. Tap Delete.
  6. Tap each picture you want to delete and mark with an X.
  7. Tap Delete.

Take a screen shot

To take a screen shot of the device display, follow these steps:

 

  1. Press the Power button and the Home key simultaneously until screen flashes.
  2. Picture will be saved to your Gallery.
