Play music or MP3

To play music or MP3s in the music player, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, touch the Applications icon.
  2. Touch Music.

 

 

Turn on / off FM radio

To turn on or turn off the FM radio, follow these steps:

Transfer

Transfer music from computer to device

To transfer music files between a computer and the device, follow these steps:

 

Note: To see a list of file formats that the device can play, see Tech specs.

 

  1. Connect a USB cable to the phone, then to a computer.
  2. On your phone, touch Turn on USB storage.
  3. Touch OK.
    Note: Some applications may stop running or may be unavailable until you change the connection type  or disconnect from the computer.
  4. Your phone is now mounted as a disk drive on the computer.

Proceed with the following steps based on the computer’s operating system:  Windows

  1. In the Removable Disk pop-up window, double-click Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer.

  2. On the computer, navigate to the music you want to copy/move.
  3. Copy and paste or drag and drop the files into the desired location on your memory card. Note: To locate the music  folder, double-click Audios > Music.
  4. When finished, on the computer, close the window showing the phone’s disk drive.
  5. On the phone, touch Turn off USB storage.
  6. Safely un-mount the phone from the computer by clicking the Safely  Remove Hardware icon located in the system tray.
  7. Disconnect the USB cable.

 

Macintosh

  1. Double-click the virtual drive icon that appears on the desktop.

  2. On the computer, navigate to the music you want to copy/move.
  3. Copy and paste or drag and drop the files into the desired location on your memory card.  Note: To locate the music  folder, double-click Audios > Music.
  4. When finished, on the computer, close the window for the phone’s disk drive.
  5. On the phone, touch Turn off USB storage.
  6. Drag and drop the virtual drive icon onto the Trash/Eject icon.
  7. Disconnect the USB cable.
