Block calls

Block calls from a number

To block incoming calls from a number, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, touch the Menu key.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch Call settings.
  4. Touch Call reject.
  5. Touch Call reject list.
  6. Touch the Menu key.
  7. Touch New reject entry.
  8. Select from the following options:
  • Contacts.
    1. Touch to select the check box next to the contact(s) youwant to add to the list.
    2. Touch Select (#).
  • Call logs
    1. Touch the number you want to reject.
  • New number
    1. Enter the number you want to reject.
    2. Touch OK.

 

 

Unblock a number

To allow incoming calls from a number you previously blocked, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, touch the Menu key.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch Call settings.
  4. Touch Call reject.
  5. Touch Call reject list.
  6. Touch Delete next to the number you want to remove.

Call forwarding

Cancel call forwarding

To turn off or cancel call forwarding that you have set up, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, touch the Menu key.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch Call settings.
  4. Touch Call forwarding.
  5. Touch Always forward.
  6. Touch Disable.

 

 

Forward all calls (unconditional)

Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.

 

To forward all calls, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, touch the Menu key.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch Call settings.
  4. Touch Call forwarding.
  5. Touch Always forward.
  6. Enter the number you want to use for call forwarding.
  7. Touch Enable.

 

 

Forward some calls (conditional)

Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).

 

To turn on conditional call forwarding which forwards some calls, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, touch the Menu key.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch Call settings.
  4. Touch Call forwarding.
  5. Select from the following options:
    • Forward when busy.
    • Forward when unanswered.
    • Forward when unreachable.
  6. Enter the number you would like to use for call forwarding.
  7. Touch Update.

Call log

Reset call log

To reset or clear the call log or history, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, touch the Phone icon.
  2. Touch Call log.
  3. Touch the Menu key.
  4. Touch Clear.
  5. Touch the check box next to the timer(s) you want to clear.
  6. Touch Clear.
  7. Touch OK.

 

 

View call log

Call logs may approximate the amount of time you have spent on phone calls, but they do not accurately show how much time T-Mobile bills.

 

To view call logs or history, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, touch the Phone icon.
  2. Touch Call log.
  3. Touch the desired phone number to view the call timer.

Touch tones (DTMF)

Turn on / off touch tones (DTMF)

To turn on or turn off touch tones when dialing, follow these steps:

 

Your device can send a numbers to the network as dual tone multi-frequency (DTMF) tones. DTMF tones are used to communicate with automated systems that require you to type a number such as a code, password, or credit card number. Your phone uses DTMF tones but you cannot turn off or change them.
